Rules
Bradford Homeowners Pool Rules and Regulations User agreement form
- Pool hours are 10am to 10pm, seven days a week. The pool will be open from approximately Memorial Day to Labor Day. At the discretion of the Pool Committee, the pool season may be extended.
- The pool’s use is for Bradford residents and their guests. There is a limit of two guests per homeowner unless otherwise approved by the Pool Committee. Bradford residents that are not current on their homeowner’s association dues or not in compliance with the covenants may not use the pool.
- There will be no lifeguard on duty. Therefore, persons using the pool and pool area do so at their own risk. City code requires that “Children Less Than 16 Years Old Shall Not Use Pool Without An Adult in Attendance.” (Ord. No. 41-146 § 7). Failure to comply with this rule will result in immediate suspension of pool access for 15 days. Unattended swimming puts the insurance policy of the Association at risk.
- In no instance shall a resident, a member of the Board of Directors, or any member of the Association be held responsible for accidents, injury or loss of personal items.
- The following shall not be permitted: disorderly conduct, including running and rough-housing; glass items; alcoholic beverages; jeans or cutoffs; pets in the pool area; profane or abusive language and swimming in the pool after posted hours.
- Pool maintenance will be performed on an as needed basis. All persons are expected to yield the pool to any and all maintenance personnel. In the event of chemicals being added to the pool, it may be necessary to close the pool temporarily to allow the chemicals to circulate.
- Keys to the pool are the property of the Association and as such may be revoked by any Board member or Pool Committee member for failure to comply with the posted rules and regulations. The Board and Pool Committee have the ability to monitor key card usage and deactivate them if necessary.
- Failure to comply with these rules will result in pool privileges being revoked immediately by the Board or Pool Committee for 15 days. If the problem persists, the Board or Pool Committee has the authority to suspend pool privileges for up to 60 days.
- There will be a $20 charge for replacing lost pool keys.
- Any person caught vandalizing the property or equipment will be prosecuted.
- All posted notices and regulations must be obeyed.
- We are all owners of this pool so we should all take a part in making sure our pool is safe, clean and enjoyable for everyone.
