Bradford HOA Meeting Minutes
March 7, 2010

Meeting Started: 3:01 p.m.

Those Present: Mike Welty, James Barnes, Don Mallonee, Cherryl Cox, and Jennifer Stiles.  Steve Slack was late to the meeting and Todd was not present.

President:

  • Cherryl made a motion to pass the BHOA trash contract (15.79/mos.=47.37/3 mos.) with Waste Connections.  Don seconded and motion passed.

Secretary: 

  • Upcoming meeting dates – April 11th, May 2nd, June 20th.  All meetings at 3 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Treasurer:

  • Financial report submitted and reviewed. 
  • Conversation regarding where savings account money actually is (2 CDs). 
  • Mike made a motion hire Rodney’s HOA Management Company to contact Jeff and Bridget Hickman regarding payments.  James seconded and the motion passed. 

Collections:

  • Report given – to add dates to procedures for collections and also contact Calvin (lawyer) regarding property at 9401 W. Ryan. 

Commons:

  • Todd reported update from landscaping company and family at 9402 W Ryan for landscapers to take care of trimming around lawn sprinkler timer. 
  • Reminder of work day scheduled for March 20th. 

Architectural:

  • James has arch meeting scheduled for March 23rd. 
  • Arch committee considering new home on Ryan Court for Parade of Homes—arch committee decision.

Pool:

  • Bid for light poles for playground and pool area $4647.23.  Cherryl motioned to get pool lights and James seconded and the motion ended in a 3-3 tie (motion died).  JAMES TO FOLLOW up with electric company and see if anyone else has one installed. 
  • Cherryl also checked into pool furniture must be purchased in 1 dozen quantities (no more then $1100).  CHERRYL TO FOLLOW UP and take care of the pool furniture.  Cherryl motioned to purchase 12 chairs not to exceed $1100 James motioned (motion carried 5-1). 
  • Pool also needs a new liner for sport pool.  Cherryl made a motion to purchase new liner at ($1981.44) from Aquasizers.  Don seconded and the motion passed (6-0). 

New Business:

  • Fourth of July Parade will be on Saturday 3rd of July this coming summer. 
  • Don needs pool keys to distribute prior to pool opening—check for supply of keys.
