Bradford HOA Meeting Minutes
January Meeting – January 11, 2008.

Meeting Began: 3:07 p.m.

Those Present: Cherryl Cox, Steve Slack, Rick Gibson, Don Mallonee, and Mike Welty.  James Barnes attended as a guest.

President: No report or issues.

Secretary:

• Schedule for upcoming meetings was discussed and set for the first few months.  Steve will finalize and post to the website. 

Treasurer:

• Rick is to check with Monty regarding the refund from the extension office and with Leslie regarding a check being sent to Westlink for the use of the room. 
• Rick will receive the updated financial reports next week and will forward the report to the rest of the board. 
• Rick also reported the amounts collected through Pay Pal in November, December, and January. 
• Cherryl asked about altering the budgeting process.  BOARD TO FOLLOW UP during February meeting and bring suggestions for next year’s budget.  CHERRYL and STEVE TO FOLLOW UP and provide initial information to the board. 

Commons: 

• Jerry McIntosh has agreed to do the work day (April 25th).  Cherryl motioned that we approve Jerry for leading the work day ($30 per work day plus an additional $30 if he coordinates both work days with a maximum of $90 for a year.) Don seconded the motion and it was approved (5-0). 
• CHERRYL TO FOLLOW UP with Suburban regarding the delivery of the rip rap and damage to the grass and the parking blocks. 

Arch Committee: 

• House on 8810 W. Central Park – green paint and satellite dish.  . 
• Cherryl introduced James Barnes as an individual interested in the arch chair position.  James introduced himself to the board.  Cherryl made a motion to appoint James as the architectural chair through the end of the year until the next election, Rick seconded the motion, and the motion was approved (5-0).

Pool Committee: 

• Pool gate needs to be padlocked. 

New Business:

• Cherryl asked some questions regarding the changing of the covenants. 
• Steve expressed thanks to Cherryl and Monty for their work at small claim’s court regarding Patrick Lucas.
